If you’re studying Amelia Earhart or the history of planes, this airplane craft will be a fun hands-on activity that would also look great on a bulletin board. This plane is the Lockheed Vega 5B which Amelia Earhart flew on her trip as the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic in 1932.
Visual step-by-step instructions are included to help your students construct the plane.
There are two versions of the craft with simple vocabulary or with airplane terminology, which is great for older students, and for students who love planes and may already be familiar with the terminology.
A coloring page is also included if you need a quick and easy activity as an alternative to the craft.
